Homecoming Week at OHS
Homecoming week is October 1st to the 5th.
Want some great ways to get involved in the school and show your Indian Pride and Tame the Huskies? Here they are …
Monday. Come to school dressed as bright as you can for Neon Day. That night attend the Powder Puff football game to watch the senior girls compete against each other at 8:00 p.m. at the Lacey Complex.
On Tuesday, grab a friend and dress alike for Twin Day. Then, come support and watch some Powder Puff volleyball as the senior boys battle it out for the ultimate win at 7:30 p.m. in our high school gym.
Backwards Day is Wednesday, so wear your shirt backwards, your pants backwards, or wear everything backwards! That night, go home and rest up for the next two days of Homecoming week.
We want you all to come dressed your best on Thursday for Fancy Day! After school come downtown at 6:30 p.m. to watch the Homecoming Parade and see all the spirit our town has. After the parade, go to the Community Stadium for Coronation to see which seniors are announced King and Queen, listen to the choir, and hear from previous Indians who are pumped for the game Friday.
On Friday come to school showing your ultimate school spirit dressed in Maroon and White. At the end of the day we will be having a Pep Rally to pump you up for the game that night! At 7:30 p.m. come out and watch the Oskaloosa Football Team defeat the Winterset Huskies.
We hope to see you all participating in Oskaloosa High School 2012 Homecoming week!!
